The maker
Designed and tested without sight
I am Edis, a blind designer. I build everything here to be understood by touch first and checked by hand, so a piece works whether or not you can see it. That non-visual perspective is the point, not an afterthought.
It also means I can make almost anything to order: a tactile map of your neighbourhood, a model that shows a student what something really looks like, an escape plan you can read with your fingers, or a purely functional part like a custom bracket, holder or replacement piece. Working by measurement and feel, I care about fit and tolerances whether or not the piece is ever meant to be seen. If you have an idea, describe it and I will make it real.
