Articulated Guide Dog

3D render of the Articulated Guide Dog model. The model is a guide dog figure built from separate parts. The body has four legs, a tail and a round neck socket for the head. The head is a smooth dog head with floppy ears and a muzzle. The basket and handle form the guide-dog harness accessories.
A rendered preview of this model. An optional interactive 3D view is below.

The 3D preview is optional. Activate the button to load it. Once it appears, use the left and right arrow keys to rotate, the up and down arrow keys to tilt, and the plus and minus keys to zoom. A Top-down view button looks straight down at the model, laying flat pieces like boards, cards and maps out as if on a table. A Reset view button returns the camera to its starting position. A full text description and download are provided below and do not require this preview.

About this model

I made this as an early guide dog model with separate printable parts. The download includes the dog body, head, basket and guide handle. It is a character model, and it shows the direction I was already exploring: recognisable objects that can be understood by touch.

What it looks like

The model is a guide dog figure built from separate parts. The body has four legs, a tail and a round neck socket for the head. The head is a smooth dog head with floppy ears and a muzzle. The basket and handle form the guide-dog harness accessories.
