About this piece

I first made this as a Valentine's gift, but it also works as a simple Braille learning tool. Each heart is its own link, with one letter shown twice on the same face: raised Braille dots above and a raised print letter below. Each heart is about 14 x 20 x 4 mm before the raised details. The shown bracelet layout is about 217 x 42 x 5 mm, threaded on cord. The model includes the Danish alphabet, including ae, oe and aa equivalents for Danish letters in the source, plus blank hearts for spaces.

Why I made it this way

  • I put Braille and raised print on the same heart so blind and sighted readers can share the message.
  • I made each letter a separate heart so words, names and short messages can be customised.
  • I added threading holes so the hearts can be strung on cord or elastic.
  • I kept the dots raised enough to feel clearly when printed carefully.
  • I designed it as both a personal gift and a hands-on way to practise Braille.

What arrives

If you choose the printed option, I send the printed hearts cleaned and checked, ready to string on the included or chosen cord. Contact me before ordering if you want a custom word or name.

Printing and finishing

I make printed orders to order in Denmark. I inspect the print, check the Braille detail, clean the edges and pack it safely before shipping.

Returns and digital files

Printed items have a 14-day right of withdrawal, plus your 2-year complaint right. For digital downloads, the 14-day withdrawal right ends once the download begins.
